Partners of Dorris (Place) –  (POD), made up of parents, educators, and community members is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to raising and disbursing funds to pay for programs removed by budget cuts, to seeking out and capturing new quality learning opportunities for the advancement of the students of Dorris Place Elementary, to give support to its teachers, and to contribute to the continued beautification and safety of the Los Angeles Elysian Valley neighborhood. http://www.podpartnersofdorris.org/
