“I wanted to make sure you saw this information from the City about the public hearing that will be held about the proposed changes to the Elysian Valley Q Conditions.  The hearing will be June 9th at Dickerson Employee Benefits.

The documents are attached or can be found by the end of this week at the Department of City Planning website under the “What’s New” tab.

The City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning will be holding a hearing on Q Conditions at 1918 Riverside Dr. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Open House will be from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., the hearing itself will begin at 6:00 P.M.. Attached to this message is information regarding discussion on the potential projects between Blake Ave. and the Los Angeles River.

Elysian Valley Riverside Neighborhood Council meets every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. @ Allesandro Elementary School (in the auditorium), 2210 Riverside Drive, Los Angeles 90039

    • You’re not being reasonable. Cities grow and change, do you really think there’s any chance that Elysian Valley is going to stay frozen in time exactly as you want it forever? You as a person can’t tell property owners what they are allowed to do with their property, that’s up to the city and regulations which are pretty clearly outlined here. Time to accept that Elysian Valley is growing and changing like the rest of Los Angeles, let’s put our efforts into improving our neighborhood instead of just screaming no.
