Board Members must be at least 16 years of age.

How/when to apply?

Candidate filing begins January 27 and ends February 26. Applications will be available starting next week. We will send a follow up email with the application and more information about filing at the beginning of the week. If interested or if you have further questions, please contact Jeff Klein at jklein.evnrc@gmail.com.

What are Neighborhood Councils?

Neighborhood Councils work hand in hand with residents, businesses, and government to solve local issues and enhance quality of life. Neighborhood Councils are made up of individuals just like you! They officially address Elysian Valley issues directly with city representatives and departments. Each year, the Board approves a budget of approximately $35,000 or more, which can be used for outreach and community improvement. EVRNC has worked on issues related to the awarding neighborhood purpose grants, the LA River, parks, street lighting and repair, crime and graffiti, improving signage, and business development.

Thank you for your time and interest.

Elysian Valley Riverside Neighborhood Council meets every third Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. @ Dorris Place Elementary School (in the auditorium), 2225 Dorris Place, Los Angeles 90031
